Senior Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize complex software solutions using cloud technologies such as AWS.

This role combines hands-on engineering with API development, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, innovative software solutions that improve the lives of our customers.

About the Role
  • Develop scalable and high-performance applications using PL/SQL code, database schemas, and SQL queries.
  • Create secure, scalable RESTful APIs and cloud-based solutions using AWS services, ensuring robust integration and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle and contribute to DevSecOps culture.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, operational support, and agile processes to deliver high-quality, innovative software solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Oracle database technologies, including PL/SQL development and a commitment to integrating security practices within the development lifecycle as part of a DevSecOps culture.
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and tools for development and deployment.
  • Knowledge on DevSecOps practices and principles.
  • Proven experience in operational engagements required to bring a product to life.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product owners, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on designing and optimizing data processing.
