Insurance Risk Manager Role

The role of an Insurance Risk Manager is pivotal in strengthening our risk culture and insurance strategy.

This specialist will support the Group Risk Manager in delivering enterprise risk initiatives, managing insurance programs, and driving compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate risk workshops, ERM system updates, and reporting to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead the rollout of the Enterprise Risk Management platform (Archer) and ensure successful adoption.
  • Manage insurance queries, claims, certificates, and data collation with attention to detail.
  • Support crisis and incident management processes to minimize impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to guarantee coverage and compliance.
Requirements for Success
  • Hold 1–5 years' experience in risk, insurance, finance, or accounting.
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or a related field.
  • Develop strong analytical and communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, sound decision-making abilities, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Have a thorough understanding of corporate insurance products and risk frameworks.
