Job Title: Clinical Medical Advisor

As a Clinical Medical Advisor at Pharmiweb, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides medical and scientific support to internal and external customers. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving scientific discussions, developing relationships with stakeholders, and contributing to the success of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals, to support medical education activities and KOL engagement.
  • Provide Medical and Scientific Support: Offer medical and scientific guidance to external customers, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders.
  • Lead Scientific Discussions: Drive scientific discussions at site selection and initiation visits, perform ad hoc visits, and support attendance at investigator meetings.
  • Contribute to Clinical Trials: Collaborate with clinical operations to deliver successful clinical trials by ensuring KOL inclusion and engaging key investigators to communicate trial results.
  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Add therapeutic area expertise to the medical team and transfer knowledge within the organization and externally.
  • Medical Insights: Collect medical insights that may be of value and cascade these as relevant to the Clinical Development team and cross-functionally within the local affiliate/CDC.
Qualifications:
  • Education: MD or PhD or equivalent in healthcare with a strong clinical and research background.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience, with solid experience in human healthcare research from the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Expertise in the therapeutic area of relevance (rare disease), preferably with authorship in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Local Healthcare Infrastructure: Understanding of the specificities and nuances of the local healthcare infrastructure.
  • Pharmaceutical Drug Development: Understanding of pharmaceutical drug development.
  • Clinical Trial Experience: Experience as a clinical trial investigator or sub-investigator is preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Communication and Networking: Strong communication and networking capability.
  • Presentation and Facilitation: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Scientific Credibility: Strong scientific credibility.
  • International Matrix Organization: Experience and willingness to work in an international matrix organization.
  • Adaptability: Ability and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
  • Industry Influence: Passionate about influencing industry from a medical perspective.
