About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Hervey Bay QLD. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance, support, and encouragement of independence to our clients, enabling them to live in their chosen community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including showering, dressing, and continence care
- Assist clients with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, and other light housework
- Transport clients to appointments and undertake personal shopping
- Assist with medication administration and support in the development of a consumer-driven care plan
Requirements
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Completion of the unit of competency HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication
- Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates
- Current driver's license and willingness to use own comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes
- Physical capacity to carry out duties, including house and manual work
- National Police Certificate
