Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tow Truck Operator to join our team at The NRMA. As a key member of our roadside assistance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our members across Australia by providing safe and efficient vehicle recovery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide roadside assistance to members in need.
  • Load, transport, and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve excellent customer service and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle assessments and develop effective recovery plans to minimize downtime and ensure safe transportation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in towing and transportation procedures, as well as industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
  • A valid NSW Medium Rigid Driver's License (or higher) and a valid Tow Truck Driver's Certificate.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster over a 7-day week, including public holidays, for 12-hour shifts between 6:00am – 10:00pm.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • A flexible and robust attitude, with a positive mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
