Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Inner West Sydney. As a full-time Vet Nurse, you will be an integral part of our 4-veterinarian practice, working alongside 6 experienced Veterinary Nurses and 3 casual staff members.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
  • Excellent animal handling skills
  • Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work confidently in a busy environment

You will be responsible for various daily duties, including:

  • Animal handling and restraint
  • Managing the running of surgery
  • Monitoring general anaesthesia
  • Assisting veterinarians with treatments

The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital x-ray, ultrasound machine, IM3 Dental X-ray, blood pressure monitoring, and computerised software.

We have a strong association with local welfare groups, such as the Cat Protection Society. Our ideal candidate shares our values and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
