Job Overview

As a strategic advisor in policy, regulatory and economic matters, you will contribute to analysis and advice on government agencies and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the assessment of budget proposals as part of delivering state financial outcomes
  • Undertake research and analysis to support sound and implementable recommendations enabling broader public sector outcomes
  • Proactively build relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
  • Support the development of policy positions and advice on financial and policy matters
  • Develop a good understanding of Treasury's role and key processes

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, accounting, public administration or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake financial analysis or analyze public policy from an economic perspective
  • Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team
