About the Role

As a system hardware professional, you'll contribute to the full lifecycle of deployed mission systems—from conceptualization and validation to compliance and deployment. You'll work across hardware, software, and cyber domains, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust, secure capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement agile methodologies to design a defensive cyber operations suite
  • Manage the product lifecycle for deployed mission systems, ensuring timely release and optimization
  • Create and test complex IT systems for deployment, adhering to industry standards
  • Design schematics, layouts, and specifications for hardware components, considering performance and compliance
  • Evaluate hardware performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Produce and review technical documentation: SOPs, HLDs, DLDs, SADs, SODs
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and manage risks, maintaining accurate records aligned with project milestones
  • Operate within ICT and cybersecurity governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Linux OS automation and administration expertise
  • Hardware testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting skills
  • Communications systems, sensors, and telecom networks knowledge
  • Cyber operations and toolsets proficiency
  • ISM compliance for hardware configuration understanding
  • WHS compliance and safety practices awareness
  • IT and/or cyber security domain expertise
  • Windows OS automation using PowerShell skills
  • Experience in air-gapped environments
  • Networking: routing, switching, firewalls knowledge
  • Medium to large-scale IT project experience
  • Prior experience in government projects
  • Must hold a current NV2 clearance; ability to obtain a Positive Vetting (PV) clearance is desirable
