The role of a Group Facilitator is pivotal in our multidisciplinary team.

As a Group Facilitator, you will be responsible for facilitating both inpatient and day outpatient group therapy programs.

  • This position requires training or experience in at least one of the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
  • Training and experience in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Radical Open Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (RO DBT) are highly regarded.

You will need to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and the ability to engage patients across age groups and a variety of mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, personality disorders and trauma-related disorders.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent mental health care professional registration.
  • Experience in facilitating group therapy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work autonomously while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Able to deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Suite.

Remuneration is competitive, inclusive of base hourly salary ranging from $36.35 - $56.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications.
