This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of Allied Health professionals as an Independent Speech Pathologist.

As an Independent Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assisting NDIS participants, their families, and carers in identifying their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.

You will evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support space, ensuring individual plans reflect the goals, passions, and strengths of our NDIS participants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting NDIS participants and their families/carers to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilizing a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current SPA membership
  • 2 Years NDIS Experience
  • Active ABN
  • Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity insurance, and Comprehensive car insurance
  • Police clearance, WWC, and NDIS screener
