About the Role

The Warfare Products Director is a critical position within the Australian Government Department of Defence, responsible for driving the development and implementation of product management strategies to optimize the use of Defence resources and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transition acquisition assets into service to be sustained in the Directorate under a Materiel Sustainment Agreement (MSA);
  • Enable the successful coordination of Products into Major Acquisition and Sustainment Programs;
  • Provide product road-mapping advice and support to senior management on product/project strategy across the branch.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of delivering on Government decisions, with experience delivering Acquisition Projects and Sustainment of Products. They will also have strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to Government and excellent communication skills.
