Looking to advance your career in financial administration? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Administrator to join our team

About the Role

This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills in cost management, financial analysis, and administrative support. As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assistance to our finance, purchasing, and contracts functions. Your duties will include:

  • Accurately accounting for costs, preparing reconciliations, and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Working collaboratively with the Finance and Administration team to achieve project targets.
  • Preparing cost accruals, cost variance analysis, and FBT returns.
  • Utilizing Excel to review costs, provide spend and trend information to key stakeholders, and coordinate month-end activities.
  • Analyzing daily profit/loss reports, reallocating costs as required, and assisting with forecasting/budgeting and reconciliations.
About You

We are looking for someone who has completed a Cert III or IV in Business Administration and has experience working in a mining or heavy industry environment. Ideally, you will have exposure to accounting/finance tasks and be proficient in JDE or similar ERP packages. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
