AQ's in-house interior design team is expanding, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Interior Design Professional to drive projects across our organisation's sites.

Job Overview

We're currently undertaking several significant projects that require the expertise of an experienced Interior Designer. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team producing high-quality work within the Aged Care sector.

Estimated Salary: AU$85,000 - AU$115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • Deliver innovative design solutions with a focus on user-centricity and quality
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from inception to completion, collaborating with AQ designers and external architects & consultants
  • Produce detailed designs, construction documentation, and schedules, including finishes
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee project logistics
  • Fully manage FFE procurement, selecting and coordinating furniture, fixtures, equipment, and artwork/decorative elements
  • Accountable for assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality standards
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and travel to various sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba, and NSW

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a design studio environment, preferably in the Aged Care sector
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong design skills, and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards
  • National Police Check clearance and current Australian Open Driver's License
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
