Teaching Economics at a Fintona Girls' School

We are seeking an engaging educator who is passionate about inspiring the economic thinkers of tomorrow. This full-time position is for an educator with expertise in VCE Economics and a passion to support students with financial literacy.

  • Teach VCE Economics and other relevant subjects such as Humanities, Digital Technology or Politics.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance academic performance.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional wellbeing and pastoral care.
  • Participate in school-wide events, excursions, and camps programs to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
  • Valid VIT registration.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Economics or a related field.
  • Current knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy in VCE Economics, aligned with the Australian curriculum.
  • Experience in teaching Humanities, Digital Technology or Politics will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a collegiate environment and embed oneself in the ethos and life of the institution.
