Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Melbourne Airport Boutique. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the boutique, including leading a team of sales associates, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sales associates: Provide guidance, training, and coaching to ensure that sales associates are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Manage inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and maintenance of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed in a visually appealing manner.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service: Ensure that customers receive a personalized and exceptional shopping experience, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage visual merchandising: Oversee the visual presentation of the boutique, including window displays, in-store displays, and product placement.
  • Meet sales targets: Work with the sales team to achieve sales targets, analyzing sales data and making recommendations to improve sales performance.
  • Recruit and train staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates who are knowledgeable about products and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong understanding of retail operations, customer service, and sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales associates, and other stakeholders, and to lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve sales performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
