Career Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our residential aged care home.
About the Role:
- Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents in accordance with best practice nursing procedures
- Act as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide kind-hearted and genuine care to the elderly
- Hold current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Display knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Exhibit strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
- Demonstrate strong coaching/training skills
- Effectively resolve conflicts with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Positively communicate with residents, families, and staff
- Be willing to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
