We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team in Townsville. This permanent, full-time position involves working day shifts, reporting to the Service Delivery Manager. Your key responsibilities will include conducting maintenance, overhauls, and general workshop duties on rolling stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and overhaul work on locomotives, wagons, or passenger carriages.
  • Read, interpret, and work from plans, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct assembly, disassembly, and component maintenance following best practices.
  • Participate in general workshop duties and contribute to the safe, efficient operations of the team.
