Job Description

A challenging opportunity exists for a qualified Tyre Fitter to join our team in a permanent capacity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks related to tyre and wheel maintenance, including rotation, pressure checks and fitting. You will also be involved in identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of new procedures.

This role is part of a larger team effort to ensure the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fitting heavy earthmoving tyres and possess relevant qualifications such as AURKTJ011 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road tyres and AURKTJ012 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks related to tyres and wheels
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times

You will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package, including super paid on all hours | 7/7 rotating roster for better work-life balance, meals, camp accommodation (gym and wet mess on site), PPE provided. You will also FIFO from Rockhampton, Townsville, or Cairns directly to the mine site.
