Logistics Coordinator Role

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently manage purchase orders, coordinate freight, and ensure timely order fulfilment.

The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in supporting both the Finance and Sales teams by providing administrative support and assisting with ad-hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, procurement, or administration, with strong Excel and data entry skills, excellent communication and time management, high attention to detail, and a proactive team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Purchase Orders and Supplier Communications: Prepare and manage purchase orders and supplier communications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate Freight: Coordinate freight for raw materials and finished goods, liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams as necessary.
  • Liaise with Suppliers and Teams: Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Support Sales Team: Support the sales team with customer order dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Maintain Reporting Tools: Maintain reporting tools and assist with inventory and logistics tracking, providing real-time updates on order status and progress.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Logistics or Administration: Proven experience in logistics, procurement, or administration, with a strong understanding of supply chain management.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Time Management and Organization: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job.
