We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an apprentice mechanical fitter. This exciting opportunity will see you work towards achieving a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) at our dynamic manufacturing plant based in Warwick Farm.

The role is a day shift position, with on-the-job training, guidance, and mentoring from experienced maintenance leaders and mechanics. You will also receive theory support and the flexibility to choose block training, day release, or a mix of both options. In addition, you will be provided with a base wage, allowances, potential overtime, all tools and equipment, uniforms, and gain all the required skills and experience to become a trade qualified mechanical fitter.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Following apprenticeship training agreements proactively with a strong emphasis on learning
  • Becoming actively involved within the inspection and packaging maintenance department
  • Assisting qualified mechanical trades to learn and perform a wide range of fitting tasks such as assemble, repair, and maintain various components for plant machinery and equipment
  • Striving to acquire the skills necessary to work autonomously
  • Performing other duties and projects as assigned

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We offer a competitive salary, including $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
