Secondary Teacher Position at Catholic Education Rockhampton

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher to join our team at Catholic Education Rockhampton. As a member of our teaching staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the growth and development of our community.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, where you will be able to utilize your skills and experience to deliver high-quality education to our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and developing curriculum materials.
Key Responsibilities- To teach and assess students in secondary subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Science, Maths, English, Religion, Study of Religion, Business, Accounting, and Industrial Technology & Design (ITD)
- To design and deliver lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
- To develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress and understanding
- To collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and improve student outcomes
- A relevant tertiary qualification and registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Australian work rights and eligibility to work in Australia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- A competitive salary structure ranging from $84,077 to $142,764 per annum, depending on experience
