Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to provide high-quality analysis, insights and recommendations to support our business growth.

This role will involve closely collaborating with our commercial team to focus on driving revenue growth, profitability and market competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical expertise, commercial acumen and collaboration skills.

About the Role:
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Review contracts for financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Analysis & Insights: Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting to inform business decisions.
  • Accounting & Reporting: Prepare monthly reports with variance analysis, support month-end close, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and commentary.
  • Profitability & Budgeting: Maintain product, customer, and segment profitability analysis; assist in budgeting and forecasting with commercially sound assumptions.
  • Cost Management: Track overheads and operating expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance, with CA/CPA qualification considered desirable.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar analyst or commercial planning role.
