Japanese Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Service Professional to join our exceptional team at an award-winning Japanese restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and take meal and drink orders in a friendly and efficient manner
- Clean and reset tables promptly, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Communicate fluently with guests and colleagues in both Japanese and English languages
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverage services
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in a Japanese restaurant is essential for this role.
- The successful candidate must also hold a current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills are required.
- Good grooming standards and reliability are expected.
- The ability to work Wednesday-Sunday nights from 5:00pm is a must.
