Service Advisor Role

The primary function of a Service Advisor is to manage the customer experience throughout the vehicle service process.

  • Greet customers and confirm vehicle information, including make, model, and type of service or repair issue.
  • Provide estimates for repair and maintenance services, explain the work to be performed, offer appropriate recommendations for additional works.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and complete repair orders.
  • Support team sales targets and conversion rates.
  • Understand revenue and profit targets.
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, maintaining records, invoicing, and part returns.
