Quarry Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quarry Operator to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers long-term career paths and training opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy mobile equipment (HME) and fixed plant, as well as conducting inspections, identifying issues, and reporting faults to ensure safe and efficient site operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating various HME and fixed plant to achieve site objectives
  • Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards and take corrective action
  • Reporting any issues or faults with equipment to maintenance teams for prompt resolution
  • Participating in health and safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in operating HME and fixed plant in a quarry or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of quarry products and QA manufacturing/stockpiling processes
  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call roster
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
