Highly skilled quarry operators sought for full-time casual position in Melbourne West Suburbs.

The company, a well-established player in the building industry, is expanding its operations and requires experienced personnel to set up, operate and maintain earth-moving machines. These may include mobile crushing and screening plants as well as associated equipment such as stackers and conveyors.

Machines you will be responsible for operating include an Excavator, Dozer and Grader. Key tasks involve site cleanliness which includes general labouring duties on the ground and machine.

To succeed in this role you must have:

  • Previous experience in Quarries, Mines or Civil works
  • Tickets and minimum 3 years experience on Excavators, Dozers, Loaders and or Graders
  • A good track record of working safely
  • Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with Quarry Manager and other operators
  • Long-term commitment
