Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at a private hospital in regional NSW. This is a permanent full-time and part-time position, offering a rewarding career opportunity for those with orthopedic experience.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Develop and implement education programs to support patients in managing their health, recovery, or end-of-life needs.
- Lead quality improvement and safety management projects to drive desired outcomes and enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Model safe practice and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong clinical skillset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care needs, ensuring individualized and holistic care.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Experience in anaesthetics, orthopaedics, vascular surgery, and cardiac Cath lab is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Rotating roster with Morning, Day, and Night shifts, Monday to Sunday.

Our hospital is a 78-bed licensed facility, providing advanced surgery, interventional coronary angiography, orthopaedics, endovascular & general surgery, general medical, rehabilitation, palliative care, and mental health services. Our theatre complex offers state-of-the-art operating facilities, along with a day surgery unit and day medical unit.
