Design Chemical Plant Engineer

Looking for a graduate chemical/mechanical engineer to join our team? As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing chemical plant equipment. Your tasks will include creating process flow diagrams, conducting inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works, and contributing to the development of proposed engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications.
- Conduct inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures.
- Develop and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
- Support the analysis of information and the specification of methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Engineering Design, or a related field.
- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
