Hydraulic Cylinder Technician Job in Burnie

William Adams, a leading Caterpillar Dealer, is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Cylinder Technician to join their team in Burnie.

The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting and repairing hydraulic cylinders, small pumps, hydraulic motors, valves and small drive components. They will work on a 5 x 2 roster, Monday to Friday, in the component rebuild shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect and repair hydraulic cylinders, small pumps, hydraulic motors, valves and small drive components.
  • Maintain machinery and equipment and record within William Adams systems.
  • Attend and contribute to morning meetings daily.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and reports relating to works completed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent work ethic and ability to handle numerous tasks.
  • High attention to detail and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a heavy earthmoving or automotive workshop environment.
  • Welding capability and current forklift license (desired).
