We are seeking a highly skilled Geology Technician to join our team at Genesis Minerals Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing geological data, assisting geologists with exploration and ore extraction, and contributing to the performance of the Exploration Team.
Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze geological data, including drill hole processing, QAQC, and data entry.
- Exploration and Ore Extraction: Assist geologists with exploration and ore extraction activities, including RC and AC work, soil sampling, drill site preparation, and rehabilitation.
- Geological Data Management: Ensure effective coordination of core yard activities, maintain a high standard of housekeeping in work areas, and support business improvement initiatives.
- Safety and Compliance: Carry out scheduled monthly safety audits/inspections and ensure adherence to GMD procedures and standards.
- Driver's License: A valid C Class, manual car driver's license is essential.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Geology Technician.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
- Technical Skills: High level of enthusiasm for the work, high performance goals, and well-rounded technical and geology software skills.
