About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to join our team at Beilby Downing Teal. As a key member of our exploration team, you will be responsible for carrying out drilling and other field-based activities related to exploration programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the successful execution of exploration programs.
- Supervise drilling operations, field technicians, and contractors to ensure high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain geological databases and spreadsheets to track costs and progress.
- Provide data and insights for regular reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Geology, preferably with Honours, and over one year of experience in exploration and geology. You should have a proven ability to supervise drilling contractors and experience with geographical information systems, such as QGIS. A basic understanding of geological modelling software, such as Datamine or Leapfrog, is also desirable.
