About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Planner to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our Impact Assessment Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing environmental impact assessments for various projects across New South Wales and Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of environmental impact assessment projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable solutions for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Impact Assessment Team, the Newcastle Office, and the Ramboll brand in Australia.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental planning, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, with a strong track record of leading project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship.
