Major transport infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand are being delivered by our Transport Group.

We are seeking a talented Principal Pavement Engineer to lead our national pavements team in delivering these projects.

This senior role will focus on mentoring and managing engineers, as well as playing a key role in planning, concept and detailed pavement engineering design for major road & highway projects.

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 15 years' industry experience and is degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar. They must also have excellent project management skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified – Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar)
  • Min 15 years' technical experience and knowledge of the Australian pavement design standards and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with public and private sector clients
  • Sound project management and hands-on experience, encompassing administrative, commercial and technical aspects.
  • Experience in the co-ordination, design and delivery of pavement projects within multi-disciplinary engineering projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to prepare and or review technical reports
