Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigative Lead to join our team at the Queensland Government. As an Investigative Lead, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and timely investigations into complex and sensitive allegations of corrupt conduct and staff misconduct.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations using contemporary and best practice methodologies to identify deficiencies in process, procedure, or systems.
  • Develop and implement recommendations to improve administrative practices and reduce instances of corrupt conduct and misconduct.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and supervisors on corruption prevention strategies and incidents.
  • Engage with external agencies, including the Office of the Queensland Ombudsman and the Crime and Corruption Commission, to investigate and manage customer complaints and employee conduct matters.
  • Effectively manage public interest disclosures submitted under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations and developing recommendations to improve administrative practices.
  • Strong knowledge of corruption prevention strategies and the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
