We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for providing outstanding nutrition and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook healthy meals for children aged 6 weeks to five years old
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Conduct weekly stock takes and ordering
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, early childhood regulations, policies, procedures, and work guidelines
- Experience in cooking for large groups of children
- Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required
- Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience working as a Cook in a childcare setting
