Heavy Lift Team Member

We are seeking an experienced SPMT Technician to join our Heavy Lift Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly, configuration, operation, and mechanical maintenance of Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) and specialized lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute large transport operations, including RoRo, in line with site procedures and hazards.
  • Interpret technical and engineering documents relevant to transport operations.
  • Deliver safe and reliable service solutions while focusing on client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of SPMTs and lifting equipment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of supervision experience in Heavy Lift/Heavy Haul scopes, preferably in a construction project environment.
  • Previous experience in SPMT operation, with Cometto experience being advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on SPMTs and specialized heavy lift equipment.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
