Ecological Expert Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecological Expert to join our team. This role will involve contributing to ecological projects across the ACT and NSW, while growing our service capacity in this area.

The ideal candidate will have diverse experience in field work, assessments, legislative awareness, and solid reporting and project management skills. A passion for field work and a drive for delivering high quality outcomes are essential.

  • A tertiary qualification in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, including terrestrial flora and/or fauna survey experience.
  • Experience in managing medium and large-scale projects, developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, and collecting and interpreting ecological data is highly valued.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience in preparing and reviewing reports, are also essential.
