Biomedical Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of laboratory diagnostic instruments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.

  • Installation, maintenance, and servicing of laboratory diagnostic instruments
  • Deployment and integration of new equipment in laboratory settings
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintaining accurate service records and inventory management
  • Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and regulations
  • Providing technical support and training to customers and stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia
  • Proficiency in MS Windows environments and knowledge of LIS systems, Middleware Solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS, and interfacing principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
