At our institution, we are seeking an accomplished educator to lead our humanities and sociology programs.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging teaching and learning experiences that cater to diverse student needs.

This role requires a strong background in the humanities and sociology, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that promote student-centered learning;
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to inform instruction;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement whole-school initiatives that enhance student outcomes;
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to refine pedagogical skills and stay current with best practices in the field;
  • Model excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant curriculum areas, including literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Experience in responding to student learning needs and developing targeted interventions;
  • Ability to plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies grounded in evidence-based practice;
  • Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform instruction;
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
