Job Opportunity

Mineral Resources is seeking an experienced Corporate Development Principal to play a key role in the preparation and facilitation of business unit and corporate strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and facilitation of business unit and corporate strategies by engaging stakeholders and driving alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that inform strategic planning and decision making.
  • Assess and prioritise investment opportunities to maximise shareholder value.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for optimal allocation of capital across various business units and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate new growth and corporate development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Business/Finance, Engineering, Geology.
  • Extensive experience in natural resources project/asset evaluation, corporate analysis, and due diligence within the mining industry.
  • Strong analytical capability including high level analytical and financial modelling skills and excellent technical and commercial evaluation skills for mining and processing projects.
  • Experience in development and implementation of corporate and business unit strategies, and frameworks for capital allocation that optimise shareholder value.
  • Strong presentation skills and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
