Job Title: Technical Officer – Emergency Systems

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the field of emergency systems, supporting critical infrastructure that protects lives.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with radio communications and IP network systems, alongside a project management style approach to coordinating technical work.

  • Familiarity with VHF/UHF radio systems
  • Practical experience in the maritime or emergency services sector
  • Understanding of the radio and telecommunications regulatory environment in Australia
  • Experience maintaining virtualisation environments (e.g., VMware)
  • IP network knowledge including NBN, MPLS, LTE and microwave systems
