Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Specialist Role
The Australian National University is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the stakeholder engagement portfolio. This position will oversee the delivery of high-level engagement activities and provide comprehensive strategic support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage stakeholder engagement activities, including collaboration with Pacific-based partners, academic experts, and technical advisors.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies in consultation with the Deputy Director.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager and Education team to deliver the stakeholder engagement portfolio.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Pacific Islands governments, the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, and other regional security organizations.
Requirements:
- A demonstrated understanding of Pacific Islands, regional architecture, and regional security declarations.
- Experience working in the Pacific Islands region, preferably in a role related to stakeholder engagement or program management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain diverse relationships.
