Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing safety, dignity, and comfort, and continually evaluating and improving services to meet the evolving needs of patients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance patient care and contribute to organizational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Proven experience in aged care or a related field, with a strong understanding of healthcare systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • A sound understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including those related to patient rights, confidentiality, and privacy.
