Substation Project Manager

HDR is seeking a project manager to lead substation projects and programs throughout their entire life cycle.

  • Managing and leading projects and programs.
  • Directing, mentoring, training, and/or supervising staff.
  • Providing team member oversight over workload, schedule, quality, utilization, morale, and performance.
  • Overseeing non-engineering components of projects and programs.
Responsibilities
  1. Leading the QA/QC process per HDR's Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements.
  2. Supporting client management and engaging in broader business development activities.
  3. Coordinating with Area and Regional leadership to develop a hiring plan.
  4. Ability to workshare with staff in multiple offices to execute projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • FE, PE license preferred, PMP in lieu of PE.
