Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

This position involves electrical design leadership on single and multi-disciplinary projects across various sectors, including high-rise residential towers, commercial, tertiary education, aviation, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design projects and contribute to the delivery of complex engineering designs.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, authorities, internal colleagues, and managers to ensure project success.
  • Implement best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on time-saving and cost reduction without compromising quality.
  • Develop strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and understand evolving client needs.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the building services business unit by supporting strategic goals and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Strong expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation.
  • 6-10 years' industry experience on Australian building services projects, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects across various scales and sectors.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • Capacity to lead, train, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC, etc.).
  • Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit MEP (an advantage).
  • Ability to drive business development and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Proactive approach to client service, team collaboration, and problem-solving.
