About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Science Manager to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our Ag Science team, you will be responsible for leading research projects and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute field research projects with a focus on agronomy, Ag-Technology, and sustainable agriculture.
  • Collaborate with potato breeders to develop and select varieties, recommend practices and technologies for sustainable crop high performance.
  • Lead projects to deliver specified goals, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Account for budget estimates and tracking of spend against all projects under your control.
Requirements
  • PhD in Agriculture/Plant Physiology/Crop Science or equivalent, with ~5 years' experience in designing and executing field research projects.
  • +5 years experience working in a corporate setting, preferably in the Ag Seed and Chemical or Food industry.
  • Specialized knowledge of variety testing, statistical experimental design, field plot technique, statistical data analysis and interpretation, plus reporting.
  • Skilled in working with large datasets and statistical interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
