Job Opportunity

As a meat cutting apprentice, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest quality of products. You will work under supervision to learn and master the skills required for meat cutting, including preparing and packaging food items, processing customer orders, and utilizing performance-based cutting lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
  • Learn and perform tasks related to meat cutting as directed by supervisors or department heads, including receiving and breaking down meat deliveries, wrapping, weighing, and pricing products, and adhering to local, state, and government regulations.
  • Offer product suggestions to customers when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by keeping work areas free from hazards and reporting faulty equipment and hazards to management.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain such authorization.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
