Commissioning Engineer Role Summary">

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for the commissioning and integration of substation projects.

This role requires strong technical skills, with a focus on high voltage connections and power engineering. You will work closely with our project managers and engineers to ensure that all commissioning activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing commissioning and integration of substation projects
  • Providing professional engineering advice and guidance
  • Developing commissioning plans and outage plans
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a comprehensive understanding of risk management and quality assurance principles. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the delivery of multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects, as well as full working rights within Australia. They will also be able to demonstrate a collaborative working style and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working with HV substations and primary plant
