BMD Urban, a renowned company in the South East Queensland region, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our civil engineering projects. Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, and meeting project objectives. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with senior engineers and site personnel to achieve optimum production and cost outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects within scope and timeline
- Lead site teams to achieve innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 4 years' experience in civil land development or infrastructure projects
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- A strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality principles
