AI-Powered Developer for Secure AI Tooling

We're seeking an experienced Developer to join our team in a groundbreaking initiative to implement and scale AI-assisted development across federal teams.
The project involves securely integrating GitHub Copilot Enterprise within the ATO's developer environment, ensuring compliance with ISM and PSPF requirements. As a key member of the delivery team, you'll work closely with DevOps, Security, and Architecture teams to design, configure, integrate, and test GitHub Copilot.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the integration and configuration of GitHub Copilot Enterprise within the ATO's developer toolchain
- Develop, test, and optimise workflows in GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and related IDEs
- Ensure developer configurations adhere to ISM and PSPF requirements
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, and BAs to ensure seamless technical delivery
- 3–6 years' experience as a Software Developer in enterprise or government settings
- Strong hands-on experience with modern IDEs and developer workflows (e.g., Visual Studio Code, JetBrains, etc.)
- Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of secure coding practices, especially within government compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to work in Agile teams and contribute to iterative delivery
